Roger graduated from the University of Singapore in 1994 and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1995.  He was formerly a partner in Helen Yeo & Partners (2001 to 2002) and in Rodyk & Davidson (2002 to 2004) prior to setting up Genesis Law Corporation in 2004.  

Roger's areas of practice include company law, insolvency law, construction law, employment law, property law and information technology law.  Roger has experience in contentious matters covering a broad range of commercial disputes.

He has appeared as lead counsel in civil litigation matters in the Subordinate Court, High Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as in arbitration proceedings. 

Roger's practice also includes non-contentious matters.  He routinely advises Multi-National Corporations and Small-Medium Enterprises on compliance, regulatory and other corporate advisory matters, and has represented corporate clients in transactional matters including joint ventures and acquisitions. Roger also handles corporate real estate matters as well as retail conveyancing transactions, and is particularly active in advising on commercial leasing and asset management issues.
